About
Meg Pennerson is an ornithologist-turned-writer who loves learning about the natural world as much as she loves exploring fantastical ones. A believer in the adage that truth is stranger than fiction, she enjoys sprinkling elements of the “ologies” into her cozy fantasy. She also has a soft spot for cats and is never without a cross-stitch project in progress. Her favourite stories feature comedy and kindness or teach her something new. Her favourite place to be is outside, whether birding, hiking, or steadily transforming her backyard into a secret garden.
Meg Pennerson lives in Canada with her husband and their feline lap magnet, Teddy. Dragons, Heists and Other Retirement Plans is her first novel.
